JOHN CIGANEK, Ba. Mining Eng., MBA
Mr Ciganek’s career of more than 26 years in the mining sector has been spent across mining engineering, executive management and corporate finance. Mr Ciganek’s roles have included General Manager Business Development and Investor Relations for PMI Gold Corporation, a Perth based ASX and TSX listed developer with gold assets in Ghana, and various investment banking and institutional banking roles including Corporate Finance Executive and Senior Resources Analyst at BBY, and Senior Bank’s Engineer and Risk Executive with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. Mr Ciganek is currently Executive Director of BurnVoir Corporate Finance, a corporate finance advisory firm and he has been involved in providing corporate finance advice on a range of bauxite, alumina and aluminium transactions.
Mr Lewis is an experienced Queensland-based businessman with a long and successful career predominantly in the property industry, including Directorships at Richard Ellis Ray White Group, in addition to being the Founder and Managing Director of Saville (QLD). Mr Lewis has also served as Chairman of the Queensland Rugby Union.
Regarding his experience in the resources sector, Mr Lewis is Chairman of a private mining company, the Aurum Pacific Group (Aurum), with diverse interests internationally and in Australia. Aurum is associated with the Vendors of Eight South Investments Pty Ltd. His varied business experience adds considerable value to Pacific Bauxite’s interests in the Solomon Islands.
BRETT SMITH, BSc (Hons), MAusIMM, MAIG, MAICD
Mr Smith has acquired more than 26 years’ experience in the mining and exploration industry as a geologist, manager, consultant and director in Australia, North & South America and Africa. His industry experience is broad, dominated by exploration and resource definition for mining operations. He is currently the Managing Director of Corazon Mining Ltd and Non-Executive Director of Metals of Africa Ltd. Other Directorships held in the past three years include Blackham Resources Limited, Jacka Resources Ltd and Cauldron Energy.
PIPPA COPPIN, LLB BSc
Ms Coppin is a corporate lawyer based in Perth. She specialises in equity capital raisings, all forms of acquisitions and divestments, governance and corporate compliance. Ms Coppin graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2004 with a Bachelor of Laws and Science. She also has a Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance and a Diploma of Business Studies.
SURAJ SANGHANI, BCom CA ACIS
Mr Sanghani is a chartered accountant with over 10 years’ experience in the auditing and accounting profession and in commerce. He has held roles with Ernst & Young, as well as with numerous ASX-listed exploration companies operating domestically and internationally. Mr Sanghani is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and the Governance Institute of Australia. Mr Sanghani has previously been company secretary of Actinogen Ltd, Eagle Nickel Ltd and Red River Resources Ltd. He was also a Director of Red River Resources Limited in the last three years.
